Our core commitment: Contract text you submit for analysis is never stored on our servers, never used for AI training, and never shared with third parties. Your contracts remain confidential.
What We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:
Your email address — used solely to track your usage and manage your subscription
Analysis results — the structured summary output generated from your contract, stored to power your contract history feature
Usage data — number of analyses performed, plan type, and billing cycle information
What We Do NOT Collect or Store
The following are explicitly not retained on our servers:
The original contract text you submit for analysis
Uploaded document files in any format
Any personally identifiable information about the parties named in your contracts
How Contract Analysis Works
When you submit a contract for analysis, the text is transmitted directly to Anthropic's Claude API using an encrypted connection. The analysis is performed, the result is returned to you, and the original contract text is immediately discarded.
The analysis summary is saved to your history so you can reference it later. The original contract text is not saved.
Anthropic's Data Handling
Contract text is processed by Anthropic's Claude API. When using the API, Anthropic does not use submitted content to train its models by default. We encourage users with particularly sensitive matters to review Anthropic's privacy policy directly.
Professional Responsibility Notice for Attorneys
Attorneys using this service should exercise their professional judgment regarding client confidentiality obligations under their applicable rules of professional conduct before submitting client contract materials.
Data Security
All data transmission between your browser and our servers uses TLS encryption. Access to stored analysis history is restricted to the email address used to create the analysis. We do not sell, rent, or share user data with any third parties except as required to operate the service (Stripe for payment processing, Anthropic for AI analysis).
Data Retention and Deletion
Analysis history is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contractsummarizer.inquiries@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
